ADF

The ADF, or Forest Defence Groups, are local or regional organizations dedicated to the prevention and fight against forest fires. These groups are composed of trained volunteers who work closely with authorities and firefighters to protect the forests and natural areas of their community. ADF members usually receive fire extinguishing training, first aid and other skills related to natural environment management.

Temperatures exceeded normal levels, causing concern for public health and the risk of fires throughout the region. The authorities implemented fire prevention and control measures, such as restrictions on access to forest areas and citizen awareness campaigns. Despite this, several forest fires were recorded, some of which required an important response from emergency teams to prevent further damage.
